SpiceCatch — Cancellation, Reschedule, Refund & Shipping Policy

Effective from September 2025

Introduction

At SpiceCatch Retail Private Limited (SCRPL), customer satisfaction is our top priority. This Policy governs all transactions on www.spicecatch.com and the SpiceCatch mobile app across Scheduled, Express, and Bulk/Enterprise Deliveries.

1. Cancellation of Orders

1.1 Scheduled Orders

Free cancellation if requested at least 2 hours before slot. Otherwise, up to 50% fee may apply.

1.2 Express Orders

Free cancellation within 5 minutes. After that, up to 50% fee may apply.

1.3 Pay Online on Delivery (POD)

Cancellations after processing may result in up to 50% charge added to the next order.

1.4 Misuse of Policy

  • Suspend or terminate account
  • Cancel orders without notice
  • Penalties up to 50% of value
  • Legal or corrective action

1.5 Non-Attributable Cancellations

  • Incorrect address
  • Out-of-service location
  • No response to delivery
  • No authorization at delivery

1.6 Attributable Cancellations

If caused by SCRPL (e.g., stock unavailability), no fee and full refund where applicable.

2. Rescheduling of Orders

2.1 Scheduled Orders

Can reschedule up to 2 times, at least 2 hours before slot.

2.2 Express Orders

Can reschedule once before dispatch. After dispatch, not allowed.

3. Refund Processing

3.1 Timelines

Processed within 3–4 business days after approval.

3.2 Mode of Refund

  • Prepaid: As per bank/payment provider
  • COD: Via bank transfer or wallet credit

3.3 Partial Refunds

Possible for partial deliveries, damaged items, or adjustments.

4. Exceptions

4.1 Perishable Goods

Refund/replacement only if reported within 30 minutes of delivery.

4.2 Customized Cuts

No cancellation once processing begins.

4.3 Bulk & Enterprise

CatchMAXX & B2B orders follow separate terms, aligned with this policy.

5. Shipping & Delivery

5.1 General Timelines

Orders shipped within 0–7 days depending on type and location.

5.2 Priority Services

Same/next-day delivery may be available in select cities.

5.3 Delivery Estimates

Shown at checkout and order confirmation.

5.4 Force Majeure

Delays due to weather, logistics, or government restrictions will be communicated.

6. Amendments to Policy

SCRPL may update this Policy anytime without prior notice. Continued use of the Platform implies acceptance.
